Lord Selborne Guest House is situated on tree-lined Salisbury Avenue, in the upmarket East London suburb of Selborne.
Lord Selborne is a luxurious, elegant and stately manor house, that has refined East London guest house accommodation to far exceed any expected comfort levels.
With an abundance of leisure activities such as fishing, boating, bird watching and of course our beautiful beaches on your doorstep, you are surrounded by nature although only minutes away from the center of town.
Whether you are here on business, pleasure or otherwise we do hope that you enjoy your stay with us.
Our dining facility can comfortably seat 32 guests, and a full English breakfast may be enjoyed overlooking the restful garden.
Dinner is served by our in-house chefs on request. Special dietary needs can be accommodated with sufficient notice.
The garden has a poolroom, which has a large flat screen television, a gas braai, and a bar.
It is a perfect place to meet with colleagues or clients at the end of a day.
There are two air conditioned conference facilities that are accessed separately from the guest house. Both are equipped with air conditioning, digital projectors, DVD players, amplified with PC access and Internet connectivity. We also have a generator which supplies electricity in the case of Load Shedding.
The Lord Selborne Room can seat 60 delegates’ cinema style, 32 classroom styles and 26 board room styles.
The Lady Selborne Room is equipped with a board room table that can seat 20 delegates.

Our opulent dining room echoes the luxurious feel that adorns the rooms and common areas of our prestigious guest house.
We offer both American and continental breakfast options that are served overlooking our tranquil garden. Fresh juices, homemade breads, croissants and the smell of eggs and bacon ensure that our guests are amply fueled for the day ahead. Breakfast on the go can be arranged on request.
Our inhouse chefs are on hand to prepare and serve dinner to those guests wanting a inhouse dining option. We pride ourselves on preparing and serving meals that provide the comfort of home cooking.
Our pool room also has a gas braai facility – the perfect place to meet with clients or colleagues after a long day.
